About Canal Run Volunteering
It takes more than 150 volunteers to make the Canal Run the great event it is. From the very start, this event has been run by some of the very best volunteers the Copper Country has to offer. Most of them have been doing it for many years and can tell you many stories of their time at the Canal Run.
Volunteer Opportunities
Why? Because they love the Canal Run. It’s a great event and one that the Keweenaw community is proud of. Are you ready to help us continue the Canal Run’s great tradition? Every year we need volunteers to help with registration, organizing the finishing chute, helping with timing, helping at the aid stations, leading and following the race, controlling traffic and setting up the course. Even if you’re participating in the event, we still need your help.
