Canal Run Gives Back has now reached $10,000 total
Canal Run has donated $2,000 this year as part of its Canal Run Gives Back Program. Donations included $500 to Swedetown Trails, Copper Country Habitat for Humanity, Copper Country Senior Meals and BHK Child Development as part of its Canal Run Gives Back program. This year’s donation makes the total amount of donations for the program $10,000 since it started in 2011.
“We’re proud to be able to give back to our community,” Race Director Angela Luskin said. “The support we receive year after year from local law enforcement, the business community, non-profit organizations, volunteers and racers is incredible, and all of those people have helped make these donations possible.”
